Union Township, Lebanon County, is a second-class township with a population of 3,099 at the 2010 census and is approximately 29.90 square miles in size. The Township provides quick access to two major interstates, which houses seven newly built warehouses, located on the #78/#81 interstate corridor.
A majority part of the Fort Indiantown Gap Military Base, the largest National Guard Training Center in the country, can be found within Union Township.
The Blue Mountains are where the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, Swatara State Park, Pennsylvania State Game Lands Number 80, and Lebanon Valley Rails to Trails are all located within Union Township for recreational activity.
